As for car games: have you tried the “I tell a story” game? One person starts telling a story and the next person continues it after a few minutes, and then the next person? That’s fun. Or I spy. Or “Would you rather….” is always popular (Would you rather eat grandpa’s moustache or grandma’s boogers?” EWWWW!)
